This high-quality single-core cable, with a cross-section of 4 mm², is designed to operate in demanding environments where standard solutions fail. It is characterized by high temperature resistance, chemical resistance and radiation resistance, making it an ideal choice for both professional installers and end-users looking for a reliable solution. The cable is made of twisted copper core, which ensures flexibility and ease of installation.
Construction and properties
The HELUFLON cable uses FEP fluoropolymer insulation, guaranteeing exceptional durability and resistance to damage. This insulation provides resistance to high temperatures (up to +205°C, briefly up to +230°C) and low temperatures (down to -100°C). Additionally, the cable is resistant to radiation, chemicals (alkalis, acids, oils, gasoline), and the development of microorganisms and fungi. The insulation resistance is at least 2 GOhm/km. The minimum bending radius is 10 x cable diameter for flexible bending and 4 x cable diameter for stationary bending.
The cable meets the requirements of the CE standard (compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU) and has passed tests confirming its non-flammability and self-extinguishing properties (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-1). The materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting.
Applications
The HELUFLON cable is widely used in installations and construction of control panel cabinets in extreme temperature conditions - e.g. in furnaces, brickworks or heating devices. It will also be useful in the chemical industry due to its resistance to aggressive substances. Ideal for kitchen appliances, measuring devices and anywhere high reliability and safety are required.
