Single-core cable 600 V heluflon 1x6 two-color stranded tinned wire 25597
High-temperature and chemical-resistant single-core cable
This specialized single-core cable, with a cross-section of 6 mm², is distinguished by its exceptional resistance to extreme working conditions. Made with a stranded copper core, coated with FEP fluoropolymer insulation (HELUFLON®), it ensures reliable operation in demanding industrial applications. The cable is designed for operation at a rated voltage of 600 V and a test voltage of 2500 V.
Construction and properties
The cable construction is based on a multi-strand, flexible copper core (class 5 according to VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228). FEP-HELUFLON® insulation guarantees a wide range of operating temperatures – from -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C). In addition, this material is characterized by high resistance to radiation (up to 1 x 10⁶ cJ/kg), chemicals (alkalis, acids, food, oils, gasoline) and microorganisms. The cable is also flame retardant and waterproof.
- Wide temperature range: enables use in environments with extreme temperatures.
- Chemical resistance: ideal for use in the chemical industry and laboratories.
- High insulation: minimum insulation resistance is 2 GOhm/km, ensuring safe use.
- Flexibility: construction with a multi-strand core facilitates installation and cable routing.
- Radiation resistance: allows use in applications exposed to ionizing radiation.
Applications
HELUFLON cable is primarily used in installations and construction of switchboard cabinets in extreme thermal conditions – furnaces, brickworks, heating and kitchen appliances. It will also be useful in measuring devices and in the chemical industry, where absolute resistance to aggressive substances is required. It is an ideal choice where standard cables fail due to difficult environmental conditions. It also meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE).
Example applications:
- Installations in furnaces and heating appliances
- Chemical industry
- Laboratories
- Switchboard cabinets in harsh conditions
- Measuring devices
