Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a construction adapted to demanding working conditions. The copper core class 5 (flexible stranded wire) provides flexibility and facilitates installation. The insulation made of halogen-free EI5 mixture, compliant with DIN VDE 0285-525-3-41 / DIN EN 50525-3-41 standards, limits the emission of smoke and toxic gases during a fire – this is crucial in places with increased safety requirements. Additionally, the materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting.

This cable has been designed with durability and reliability in mind. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0295 class 5 regarding core resistance, and its operating temperature range is from -40°C to +90°C. The rated voltage is 300/500 V, and the insulation resistance is compliant with DIN VDE 0282 part 9 (90°C). The cable also exhibits resistance to radiation up to 20 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 80 Mrad).
