Single-core silicone cable, heat-resistant SiF 1x25mm² white 24805
Silicone cable for demanding applications
This flexible, single-core silicone cable is designed to operate in extreme temperature conditions. It features high resistance to heat, both in flexible operation (-25°C to +180°C) and stationary operation (-60°C to +180°C), making it an ideal choice for industrial applications.
The cable meets DIN VDE 0250-1 and 502 standards, guaranteeing safety and reliability.
Construction and properties
The core made of tinned copper, multi-strand and flexible (class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228) ensures excellent flexibility and resistance to bending. The silicone insulation provides not only resistance to high temperatures but also to aggressive chemicals – oils, greases, alcohols, acids, alkalis and salt solutions. Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire and minimizes the emission of toxic gases. The cable has a rated voltage of U0/U 300/500 V and a test voltage of 2000 V.
Applications in industry and power plants
Silicone cable is widely used in various industries: steel, metallurgical, aviation, shipbuilding, cement and ceramic. Thanks to its properties, it performs perfectly in places exposed to high temperatures and difficult operating conditions. Halogen-free properties also make it suitable for installation in power plants. The minimum bending radius is 15x the cable diameter in flexible operation and 6x the diameter in fixed installation. The core cross-section is 25 mm², and its approximate outer diameter is 9.5 mm.
