Single-core silicone cable, high temperature resistant SiF 1x16mm² orange 24709
Silicone cable for demanding conditions
This single-core silicone cable is designed to operate in extreme temperatures and harsh industrial environments. It is characterized by high flexibility and resistance to chemicals, making it an ideal choice for applications where standard cables fail. Made of tinned copper, stranded flexible class 5, it provides a reliable connection and long-lasting operation.
Construction and properties
The cable has silicone insulation, which guarantees its resistance to high temperatures - both in stationary operation (up to +180°C) and flexible operation (up to +180°C). The minimum bending radius is 6x the cable diameter for fixed laying and 15x the diameter for flexible operation. Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire and meets IEC 60332-1-2 standard. Its construction provides resistance to many chemical substances, including oils, greases, alcohols, acids and alkalis.
Applications
The cable is widely used in various industries: steel, metallurgical, aviation, shipbuilding, cement and ceramic. Halogen-free properties also make it suitable for installation in power plants. Thanks to its properties, it works perfectly in places exposed to high temperatures or contact with aggressive chemicals. The cable with a cross-section of 16 mm² and a rated voltage of 300/500 V is designed for safe energy transmission in demanding applications. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 7.7 mm.
