Single-core silicone cable, high temperature resistant SiF 1x2.5mm² beige 23712
Special application silicone cable
This flexible, single-core silicone cable is designed to operate in extreme temperature conditions. It features high temperature resistance, both in stationary operation (-60°C to +180°C) and flexible operation (-25°C to +180°C), making it an ideal choice for demanding industrial applications. The cable is made of flexible class 5 multi-strand copper wire, ensuring good flexibility and connection durability. Silicone insulation guarantees not only thermal resistance but also chemical resistance – the cable is resistant to oils, greases, alcohols, acids and many other substances.
Construction and properties
The cable meets DIN VDE 0250-1 and 502 standards, confirming its safety and quality. It is halogen-free (according to DIN VDE 0482-754-1/DIN EN 60754-1/IEC 60754-1) and has IEC 60332-1-2 certification confirming flame propagation resistance. The rated voltage is 300/500V, and the test voltage is 2000V. The cable also features a high dielectric strength – minimum 5000V. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 3.6 mm with a wire cross-section of 2.5 mm².
Applications in industry and beyond
This cable finds wide application in various industries, such as: steel, metallurgical, aviation, shipbuilding, cement and ceramic. Halogen-free properties also make it suitable for installation in power plants. Thanks to its properties, it can be used in places exposed to high temperatures or contact with aggressive chemicals. The minimum bending radius is 15x the cable diameter in flexible operation and 6x the diameter in fixed installation, which facilitates assembly even in tight spaces.
