Single-core silicone cable, high temperature resistant SiF 1x25mm² yellow 24808
Special application silicone cable
This flexible, single-core silicone cable is designed to operate in extreme temperature conditions. It features high heat resistance and is ideal for industrial applications where standard cables fail. Made of tinned copper, multi-strand class 5, it provides a reliable connection and long-lasting operation.
Construction and properties
The cable is distinguished by silicone insulation, which ensures its flexibility even at very low temperatures (down to -60°C). It can be used in operating temperatures from -60°C to +180°C (flexible up to +180°C). Additionally, it is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire – it meets the IEC 60332-1-2 standard. The core made of tinned copper ensures good conductivity and corrosion resistance. The cable is resistant to oils, greases, diluted acids and many other chemicals. The minimum bending radius is 6x the cable diameter for fixed installation and 15x the cable diameter for flexible operation.
Applications and benefits
The cable finds wide application in demanding industrial environments: metallurgy, steelworks, aerospace and shipbuilding industries, as well as in power plants. Halogen-free properties make it a safe choice in places with increased fire safety requirements. Its flexibility makes installation easier even in hard-to-reach places. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500 V, and the test voltage is 2000 V. The conductor cross-section of 25 mm² makes this cable perfect for applications requiring a large conductor cross-section. The outer diameter is approximately 9.5 mm and the weight per meter is 0.2896 kg.
