Single-core silicone cable, resistant to high temperatures SiF 1x10mm² beige 24612
High-temperature silicone wire – reliability in harsh conditions
This flexible, single-core silicone wire is designed to operate in extreme temperatures and demanding industrial environments. It features high resistance to external factors, making it an ideal choice for applications where standard wires fail. Made of tinned copper, multi-strand class 5, it provides good flexibility and ease of installation.
Construction and properties
The wire has silicone insulation, which guarantees its reliable operation in a wide temperature range – from -60°C to +180°C for stationary operation and from -25°C to +180°C for flexible operation. Thanks to the halogen-free component, the wire meets stringent fire safety standards (IEC 60332-1-2), minimizing the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire. Additionally, it is resistant to many chemical substances, such as oils, greases, alcohols and diluted acids. The nominal conductor cross-section is 10 mm², and the rated voltage U0/U is 300/500 V. The outer diameter of the wire is approximately 6.9 mm.
Applications
HELUTHERM SiF wire is particularly recommended for applications in industries: steel, metallurgical, aviation, shipbuilding, cement and ceramic. It will also be useful in power plants and anywhere where high thermal and chemical resistance is required. The minimum bending radius is 15x the wire diameter for flexible operation and 6x the diameter for fixed installation. Thanks to its properties, it is perfectly suited for powering devices operating at high temperatures or exposed to aggressive substances.
