Single-core silicone wire, high temperature resistant SiF 1x0.25mm² beige 23212
Extreme application silicone cable
This flexible, single-core silicone cable is designed to operate in harsh conditions requiring resistance to high and low temperatures. It is ideal for industrial installations where standard cables fail. It is characterized by high flexibility and a halogen-free construction, which increases safety.
Construction and properties
The cable is made of a flexible, multi-strand copper conductor class 5 (according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228), providing high mechanical strength and ease of installation. Silicone insulation guarantees resistance to extreme temperatures – from -60°C to +180°C in stationary operation and from -25°C to +180°C in flexible operation. Additionally, the cable is resistant to many chemical substances, such as oils, greases, alcohols, diluted acids and alkalis. The halogen-free construction minimizes the risk of toxic gas formation in the event of a fire – it meets IEC 60332-1-2 standard.
Applications and benefits
The cable finds wide application in various industries: steel, metallurgical, aviation, shipbuilding, cement and ceramic. It can also be used in power plants. Its flexibility makes it easy to route in tight spaces and dynamic installations. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500 V, and the conductor cross-section is 0.25 mm². The minimum bending radius is 6x the cable diameter for fixed laying and 15x the cable diameter for flexible operation. Thanks to high-quality materials and precise construction, it ensures reliable and safe operation for a long time.
