Single-core silicone wire, high temperature resistant SiF 1x0.25mm² orange 23209
Special application silicone cable
This flexible, single-core silicone cable is designed to operate in extreme temperature conditions. It features high heat resistance, making it an ideal choice for industrial applications and where standard cables fail. Made with a multi-strand copper conductor class 5, it provides good flexibility and ease of installation. Silicone insulation guarantees reliability and long-term operation.
Construction and properties
The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0250-1 and 502 standards, confirming its high quality and safety. Made of tinned copper, it has silicone insulation, providing resistance to a wide range of chemicals – from oils and greases to acids and alkalis. Additionally, it is halogen-free, increasing safety in case of fire (compliant with IEC 60332-1-2). The cable remains flexible in the temperature range of -25°C to +180°C, and under stationary conditions, it can operate at up to +180°C. The rated voltage is 300/500V.
Applications
This cable finds wide application in various industries: steel, metallurgical, aviation, shipbuilding, cement and ceramic. Halogen-free properties also make it suitable for installation in power plants. Thanks to its resistance to high temperatures and chemical factors, it is ideal for heating devices, industrial furnaces and other applications requiring reliable conduction in harsh conditions. The minimum bending radius is 15x the cable diameter for flexible operation and 6x the diameter for fixed laying. The conductor cross-section is 0.25 mm², corresponding to AWG 24.
