Single-core silicone wire, high temperature resistant SiF 1x0.25mm² pink 23211
Silicone cable for demanding conditions
This flexible, single-core silicone cable is designed to operate in extreme temperatures and harsh industrial environments. It features high resistance to mechanical and chemical damage, making it an ideal choice for applications where standard cables fail. Made of tinned copper, multi-strand flexible class 5, it provides a reliable connection and long-lasting operation.
Construction and properties
The cable has silicone insulation, which guarantees its flexibility even at low temperatures (down to -60°C) and resistance to high temperatures (up to +180°C in stationary operation). This is particularly important in industrial applications where the ambient temperature can be variable and extreme. Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety – in the event of a fire, it releases fewer toxic gases (compliant with IEC 60332-1-2). Its outer diameter is approximately 2.1 mm with a conductor cross-section of 0.25 mm². The cable is tested to 2000 V and has a minimum breakdown voltage of 5000 V.
Applications and benefits
SiF cable is widely used in various industries: steel, metallurgical, aviation, shipbuilding, cement and ceramic. It will also work in power plants. Its resistance to oils, greases, acids, alkalis and ozone allows it to be used in an aggressive chemical environment. Thanks to its flexibility and small size, it facilitates assembly even in tight spaces. The minimum bending radius is 15x the cable diameter for flexible operation and 6x the diameter for fixed installation. The cable meets DIN VDE 0250-1 and 502 standards, confirming its high quality and safety.
