Single-core silicone wire, high temperature resistant SiF 1x0.75mm² beige 23412
Special application silicone wire
This flexible, single-core silicone wire is designed to operate in extreme temperature conditions. It features high heat resistance, both in stationary operation (from -60°C to +180°C) and flexible operation (from -25°C to +180°C). It is an ideal solution where standard wires fail.
Construction and properties
The wire is made of a flexible, multi-strand copper conductor class 5, which provides high flexibility and resistance to bending. Silicone insulation guarantees not only resistance to high temperatures but also to many chemical substances – oils, greases, acids, alkalis and solvents. Additionally, the wire is halogen-free, which increases safety in case of fire and meets the IEC 60332-1-2 standard regarding flame propagation. The wire has a rated voltage of 300/500V and a test voltage of 2000V.
Applications
The wire finds wide application in demanding industrial environments: steelworks, foundries, the aerospace industry, shipyards, cement plants and power plants. Thanks to its properties, it works perfectly in devices exposed to high temperatures or contact with aggressive chemicals. The minimum bending radius is 15x the wire diameter in flexible operation and 6x in fixed installation. The conductor cross-section is 0.75 mm², and its approximate outer diameter is 2.6 mm.
