Single-core silicone wire, high temperature resistant SiF 1x0.75mm² pink 23411
Special application silicone wire
This flexible, single-core silicone wire is designed to operate in extreme temperature conditions. It features high heat resistance, making it an ideal choice for industrial applications and where standard wires fail. Made of tinned copper, flexible stranded class 5, it provides a reliable connection and long-lasting operation.
Construction and properties
This wire is distinguished by silicone insulation, which guarantees its flexibility even at very low temperatures (down to -60°C). The silicone insulation also provides resistance to many chemical substances, such as oils, greases, acids and alkalis. Additionally, the wire is halogen-free – it meets the IEC 60332-1-2 standard in terms of flame propagation resistance. This is important in places where fire safety is a priority. The wire has a rated voltage of 300/500V and is compliant with DIN VDE 0250-1 and 502 standards.
Applications and benefits
The wire is widely used in various industries: steel, metallurgical, aviation, shipbuilding, cement and ceramic. It also performs well in power plants. Its flexibility and resistance to high temperatures (up to +180°C) allow it to be used in difficult working conditions. The minimum bending radius is 15x the wire diameter for flexible routing and 6x the diameter for fixed routing. The conductor cross-section of 0.75 mm² (AWG 18) provides adequate current carrying capacity for many applications. The pink color facilitates identification in installations.
