Single-core silicone wire, high temperature resistant SiF 1x0.75mm² transparent 23410
Special application silicone cable
This flexible, single-core silicone cable is designed to operate in extreme temperature conditions. It features high heat resistance and is ideal where standard cables fail. Made of tinned copper, multi-strand class 5, it provides a reliable connection and long-lasting operation. The cable is halogen-free, increasing safety in the event of a fire.
Construction and properties
The cable is distinguished by silicone insulation, which ensures flexibility even at very low temperatures (down to -60°C). It can operate at a continuous temperature of up to +180°C, and briefly even higher. This makes it suitable for demanding industrial environments. It is resistant to many chemical substances, such as oils, greases, acids and alkalis. The minimum bending radius is 6x the cable diameter for fixed installation and 15x the diameter for flexible operation. The cable meets IEC 60332-1-2 and DIN VDE 0482-754-1/EN 60754-1 standards regarding halogen-free properties and flame propagation resistance.
Applications and benefits
SiF silicone cable is particularly recommended for applications in industries: steel, metallurgical, aviation, shipbuilding, cement and ceramic. It will also be useful in power plants. Its versatility results from a wide range of operating temperatures and chemical resistance. Thanks to the halogen-free construction, it minimizes the risk of toxic gas formation during a fire – which is important for the safety of the installation and personnel. The conductor cross-section of 0.75 mm² (AWG 18) allows for safe current conduction in many applications. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500V.
