Single-core silicone wire, high temperature resistant SiF 1x1.5mm² pink 23611
Special application silicone wire
This flexible, single-core silicone wire is designed to operate in extreme temperature conditions. It features high heat resistance, both in stationary and dynamic applications. Ideal for where standard wires fail.
Construction and properties
The wire is made of a multi-strand copper conductor class 5, which provides high flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. Silicone insulation guarantees not only resistance to high temperatures (up to +180°C), but also flexibility at low temperatures (down to -60°C). In addition, this material exhibits resistance to many chemicals, such as oils, greases, acids and bases. An important feature is also halogen-free – in the event of a fire, it limits the emission of toxic gases. The wire meets IEC 60332-1-2 standard regarding flame propagation resistance.
Applications and benefits
The wire is widely used in demanding industrial environments: steelworks, foundries, aerospace, shipbuilding, cement and ceramic industries. Halogen-free makes it also suitable for installation in power plants. Its flexibility facilitates installation in tight spaces and dynamic applications. Rated voltage 300/500V allows its use in various electrical circuits. Cross-section 1.5 mm² is a popular choice for many applications – from powering devices to process control. Minimum bending radius is 6x wire diameter for fixed laying and 15x wire diameter for flexible operation.
