Extreme application silicone cable
This flexible, single-core silicone cable is designed to operate in a wide range of temperatures, both low and high. It features high resistance to external factors and is used in demanding industrial environments. The cable meets DIN VDE 0250-1 and 502 standards, guaranteeing its safety and reliability.
Construction and properties
The cable is made of a flexible, multi-strand copper conductor class 5 (according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228), providing high flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. Silicone insulation guarantees resistance to high temperatures – up to +180°C in stationary and flexible operation, and even up to +90°C in fixed installations. Additionally, the material is resistant to many chemical substances, such as oils, greases, alcohols, acids and bases. The cable is halogen-free, increasing safety in the event of a fire (compliant with IEC 60332-1-2). The rated voltage is 300/500V.
Applications
This cable finds wide application in various industries: steel, metallurgical, aviation, shipbuilding, cement and ceramic. Halogen-free properties also make it suitable for installation in power plants. Thanks to its flexibility and resistance to extreme temperatures, it is ideal for applications requiring reliable conduction in difficult conditions. The minimum bending radius is 6x the cable diameter for fixed laying and 15x the cable diameter for flexible operation.
