Silicone cable for demanding conditions

This purple single-core cable, made of tinned copper, is designed to operate in extreme temperatures and harsh industrial environments. It is characterized by high flexibility thanks to the multi-strand construction of class 5 core, which facilitates installation and routing in tight spaces. This cable is ideal for applications where standard cabling fails – in the steel, metallurgical, aviation, shipbuilding, cement and ceramic industries. It will also be useful in power plants due to its halogen-free properties.

Construction and properties

The cable has been designed with reliability and safety in mind. Its silicone insulation provides resistance to a wide range of chemicals – oils, greases, alcohols, acids, alkalis and many others. In addition, it meets the standards for flame retardancy (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2/DIN EN 60332-1-2/IEC 60332-1-2) and halogen-free (DIN VDE 0482-754-1/DIN EN 60754-1/IEC 60754-1), which increases safety of use. The cable maintains flexibility in the temperature range from -25°C to +180°C, and can operate at up to +180°C when permanently laid. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500 V.
