Single-core silicone wire, high temperature resistant SiF 1x16mm² green 24700
Extreme application silicone cable
This flexible, single-core silicone cable is designed for operation in harsh conditions where standard cabling fails. It is characterized by high temperature resistance and is ideal for industrial applications and anywhere reliability and safety are required. The cable meets DIN VDE 0250-1 and 502 standards, guaranteeing its quality and compliance with European standards.
Construction and properties
The cable is made of a flexible class 5 stranded copper conductor, providing high flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. Silicone insulation guarantees resistance to high temperatures – both in stationary operation (up to +180°C) and flexible operation (up to +180°C). Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire – limiting the emission of toxic gases and smoke (compliant with IEC 60332-1-2). The minimum bending radius is 6x the cable diameter for fixed installation and 15x the diameter for flexible operation.
Applications
This cable finds wide application in various industries: steel, metallurgical, aviation, shipbuilding, cement and ceramic. Halogen-free properties also make it suitable for installation in power plants. Additionally, it exhibits resistance to oils, vegetable and animal fats, alcohols, diluted acids and alkalis. Thanks to these properties, it performs well in demanding industrial environments. The cable is designed for rated voltages of 300/500V and test voltages of 2000V with a minimum breakdown of 5000V. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 7.7 mm with a conductor cross-section of 16 mm².
