This solid silicone cable is designed to operate in extreme temperatures and demanding industrial environments. Construction and properties
The cable is made of multi-strand, flexible tinned copper conductor class 5 (according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228), ensuring good conductivity and easy installation. Silicone insulation provides resistance to high temperatures (up to +180°C continuously, and briefly up to +200°C) and low temperatures (down to -60°C). Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, which increases fire safety – it meets the IEC 60332-1-2 standard. It is resistant to oils, vegetable and animal fats, alcohols, diluted acids, alkalis, and salt solutions.
The cable is characterized by a rated voltage U0/U of 300/500 V and a test voltage of 2000 V. The minimum bending radius is 15x cable diameter for moving installations and 6x cable diameter for stationary installations. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 7.7 mm with a conductor cross-section of 16 mm².
