This purple, single-core cable made of silicone stands out for its exceptional resistance to extreme temperatures. Construction and properties

The cable is designed for demanding industrial applications. Its construction is based on a multi-strand, flexible tinned copper core (class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228), which ensures high flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. Silicone insulation guarantees not only thermal resistance but also chemical resistance – the cable is resistant to oils, greases, diluted acids and alkalis. Importantly, this is a halogen-free cable, which increases safety in the event of a fire and minimizes the emission of toxic gases (compliance with IEC 60332-1-2).

The SiF 1x16mm² cable finds application in many branches of industry: steel, metallurgical, aviation, shipbuilding, cement and ceramic. It will also be useful in power plants. Its versatility results from the wide range of operating temperatures and chemical resistance. The 16 mm² core cross-section allows for the transmission of higher currents, making it suitable for powering devices with significant power consumption. The minimum bending radius is 6x the cable diameter for fixed installation and 15x the diameter for flexible operation, making installation easier even in tight spaces.
