Single-core silicone wire, high temperature resistant SiF 1x16mm² white 24705
Special application silicone cable
This flexible, single-core silicone cable is designed to operate in extreme temperature conditions. It features high heat resistance and is ideal for industrial applications where standard cables fail. Made with a flexible class 5 stranded copper core, it provides a reliable connection even with frequent bending.
Construction and properties
The cable has silicone insulation, ensuring its flexibility over a wide temperature range – from -60°C to +180°C (flexible) and from -25°C to +180°C (stationary). It is halogen-free, increasing safety in the event of a fire, meeting IEC 60332-1-2 standard. Additionally, the cable is resistant to many chemicals, such as oils, greases, acids and bases. This makes it an excellent choice for harsh industrial environments. The cable is characterized by a rated voltage of 300/500V and a core cross-section of 16 mm², and its approximate outer diameter is 7.7 mm.
Applications and benefits
The HELUTHERM SiF cable is particularly recommended in industries such as: steel, metallurgical, aviation, shipbuilding, cement and ceramic. It also works perfectly in power plants. Its halogen-free properties and resistance to high temperatures make it a safe and reliable solution for demanding applications. The minimum bending radius for flexible operation is 15x the cable diameter, and for fixed installation 6x the cable diameter. The tinned copper core provides good conductivity and corrosion resistance. The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0250-1 and 502 and IEC 60332-1-2, confirming its compliance with European safety standards.
