Single-core silicone wire, high temperature resistant SiF 1x1mm² beige 23512
Special application silicone cable
This flexible, single-core silicone cable is designed to operate in extreme temperature conditions. It features high heat resistance, both in stationary and dynamic applications. This cable is particularly useful in industrial environments where standard cabling may fail.
Construction and properties
The cable is made of a flexible, multi-strand copper conductor, class 5 (according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228), which provides it with exceptional flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. Silicone insulation guarantees a wide operating temperature range – from -60°C to +180°C (stationary) and from -25°C to +180°C (flexible). The rated voltage is 300/500V, and the test voltage is 2000V. Additionally, the cable meets halogen-free standards (IEC 60332-1-2), which increases safety in the event of a fire. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 2.7 mm with a conductor cross-section of 1 mm².
Applications and benefits
This cable finds application in many industries, such as: metallurgy, steelworks, aviation, shipyards, cement and ceramic industry, as well as in power plants. Its resistance to high temperatures and aggressive chemicals (oils, greases, acids, alkalis) makes it ideal for applications requiring reliability and durability. The minimum bending radius is 6x the cable diameter for fixed installation and 15x the cable diameter for flexible operation. Thanks to its halogen-free construction, it minimizes the risk of toxic gas formation during a fire.
