Single-core silicone wire, high temperature resistant SiF 1x25mm² orange 24809
Silicone cable for demanding conditions
This flexible, single-core silicone cable is designed to operate in extreme temperatures and harsh industrial environments. It features high resistance to external factors, making it an ideal choice for applications where standard cables fail. Made with a multi-strand copper conductor class 5, it provides good flexibility and ease of installation.
Construction and properties
The cable has silicone insulation, which guarantees its reliability over a wide temperature range – from -60°C to +180°C for stationary operation and from -25°C to +180°C for flexible operation. This is particularly important in applications exposed to high or low temperatures, such as industrial furnaces, heating devices or cooling systems. Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire and minimizes the emission of toxic gases – it meets the IEC 60332-1-2 standard. Its resistance to oils, greases, acids and other chemicals broadens the range of possible applications.
Applications and benefits
The cable is widely used in many industries: steel, metallurgical, aviation, shipbuilding, cement and ceramic. It also works perfectly in power plants. Its flexibility makes it easy to route installations even in hard-to-reach places. The conductor cross-section of 25 mm² allows for transmission of higher currents, and the rated voltage of 300/500 V ensures compatibility with most electrical installations. The minimum bending radius is 6x the cable diameter for fixed laying and 15x the cable diameter for flexible operation. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 9.5 mm.
