Single-core silicone wire, high temperature resistant SiF 1x4mm² beige 23812
Special application silicone cable
This flexible, single-core silicone cable is designed to operate in extreme temperature conditions. It features high heat resistance, both in stationary operation (from -60°C to +180°C) and flexible operation (from -25°C to +180°C). This makes it perfect for demanding industrial applications.
Construction and properties
The cable is made of a flexible class 5 stranded copper conductor, which provides high flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. The silicone insulation guarantees not only thermal resistance but also chemical resistance – the cable is resistant to oils, greases, alcohols, acids, alkalis and many other substances. Additionally, the insulating material is halogen-free, which increases safety and minimizes the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire – it meets IEC 60332-1-2 standard. The cable has a rated voltage of 300/500V. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 4.4 mm with a conductor cross-section of 4 mm².
Applications
This cable finds wide application in various industries where high thermal and chemical resistance is required. It is ideal for:
- Steel and metallurgical industry
- Aerospace and shipbuilding industry
- Cement and ceramic industry
- Power plants
- Applications requiring flexible conduction in harsh environmental conditions.
The minimum bending radius for flexible operation is 15 times the cable diameter, and for fixed installation – 6 times the diameter. This facilitates installation even in tight spaces.
