Single-core silicone wire, high temperature resistant SiF 1x4mm² orange 23809
Extreme application silicone cable
This flexible, single-core silicone cable is designed to operate in harsh conditions, both at low and high temperatures. It features high resistance to external factors and provides a reliable connection in demanding industrial applications. This cable is particularly recommended where standard cabling fails.
Construction and properties
The cable is made of flexible class 5 stranded copper wire, which provides high flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. Silicone insulation guarantees the preservation of dielectric properties over a wide temperature range – from -60°C to +180°C for stationary operation and from -25°C to +180°C for flexible operation. Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety and minimizes the risk of toxic gas formation in the event of a fire (compliant with IEC 60332-1-2). Its outer diameter is approximately 4.4 mm with a cross-section of 4 mm².
Applications and benefits
The HELUTHERM SiF cable is ideal for applications in the steel, metallurgical, aviation, shipbuilding, cement and ceramic industries. It will also be useful in power plants due to its halogen-free properties. Additionally, it exhibits resistance to oils, vegetable and animal fats, alcohols, diluted acids and alkalis, and many other chemicals. Therefore, it can be used in environments with an increased risk of exposure to aggressive media. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500 V. The minimum bending radius is 6x the cable diameter for fixed installation and 15x the cable diameter for flexible operation.
