Special application silicone cable

This flexible, single-core silicone cable is a solution for demanding applications where standard cabling fails. The cable is characterized by high temperature resistance and halogen-free properties, making it an ideal choice for a wide range of industries. Made of tinned copper, flexible stranded class 5, it provides a reliable connection even in harsh conditions.

Construction and properties

The cable is designed for extreme working conditions. Its silicone insulation guarantees flexibility over a wide temperature range – from -60°C to +180°C for stationary operation and from -25°C to +180°C for flexible operation. This makes it suitable for applications exposed to high and low temperatures, such as industrial furnaces, heating devices or cooling systems. Additionally, the cable is resistant to many chemical substances, including oils, greases, alcohols, acids and alkalis. The cable construction meets DIN VDE 0250-1 and 502 and IEC 60332-1-2 standards (flame propagation resistance).
