Single-core silicone wire, high temperature resistant SiF 1x6mm² pink 23911
Extreme application silicone wire
This flexible, single-core silicone wire is designed for operation in harsh conditions where standard cabling fails. It is characterized by high temperature resistance and ensures reliable operation in a wide range of industries. Ideal where flexibility and safety are required.
Construction and properties
The wire is made of a flexible, multi-strand copper conductor class 5 (according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228), which provides excellent flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. Silicone insulation guarantees resistance to high temperatures – both in stationary operation (from -60°C to +180°C) and flexible operation (from -25°C to +180°C). Thanks to its halogen-free construction, the wire meets strict fire safety standards (IEC 60332-1-2). Additionally, it is resistant to many chemical substances, such as oils, greases, acids, alkalis and salt solutions.
Applications and benefits
The wire is widely used in demanding industrial environments: steelworks, foundries, aerospace and shipbuilding industries, as well as cement and ceramic plants. Halogen-free construction makes it particularly recommended for installation in power plants. Its flexibility makes it easy to install even in tight spaces. It provides a reliable electrical connection even with frequent bending and twisting. The wire is also characterized by high resistance to aging and weathering. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500 V, and the outer diameter is approximately 5.5 mm for a cross-section of 6 mm².
