Single-core silicone wire, high temperature resistant SiF 1x6mm² purple 23907
Extreme application silicone wire
This purple, single-core wire with silicone insulation is a solution for demanding applications where standard wires fail. Designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -60°C to +180°C – it performs where others degrade. Its flexible, stranded construction makes installation easier and ensures reliability in dynamic conditions.
Construction and properties
The wire is made of multi-strand copper conductor class 5, which guarantees good flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. Silicone insulation provides not only resistance to extreme temperatures, but also to many chemicals – oils, greases, solvents, acids and alkalis. Additionally, the material is halogen-free, which increases safety in case of fire – it limits the emission of toxic gases. The wire meets IEC 60332-1-2 standard regarding flame propagation resistance.
Applications and benefits
HELUTHERM SiF wire is particularly recommended in industries: steel, metallurgical, aviation, shipbuilding, cement and ceramic. Halogen-free properties make it also applicable in power plants. Its flexibility makes it easy to route in tight spaces and dynamic installations. Rated voltage 300/500V allows its use in various electrical circuits. Cross-section 6 mm² provides adequate current carrying capacity for many industrial applications. Minimum bending radius (15x wire diameter for flexible operation and 6x for fixed) allows easy adaptation to specific installation conditions.
