Silicone cable for demanding conditions

This flexible, single-core silicone cable is designed to operate in extreme temperatures and harsh industrial environments. It features high resistance to external factors, making it a reliable solution for many applications. Made with a multi-strand copper core, Class 5, it provides good flexibility and easy installation.

Construction and properties

The cable has silicone insulation, which guarantees its resistance to high temperatures – both in flexible (up to +180°C) and stationary operation (up to +180°C). This makes it perfect for industries such as metallurgy, steelworks, aviation, shipyards, cement and ceramic industries, as well as power plants. Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety and minimizes the emission of toxic substances in the event of a fire. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0250-1 and 502.

• Tinned copper core, flexible multi-strand Class 5 (DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228) – ensures flexibility and connection durability.
• Silicone insulation – guarantees resistance to high temperatures and chemicals.
• Rated voltage U0/U: 300/500 V – enables wide application in various installations.
• Resistance to oils, greases, alcohols, acids, alkalis and ozone – ensures reliable operation in an aggressive environment.
• Minimum bending radius: 15x cable diameter (flexible) / 6x cable diameter (fixed installation) - facilitates installation even in tight spaces.
• The cable meets the standards for flame propagation resistance (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1-2) and halogen-free (DIN VDE 0482-754-1 / DIN EN 60754-1 / IEC 60754-1).

Core cross-section 6 mm² and approximate outer diameter 5.5 mm allow the cable to be adapted to specific installation needs. Remember the manufacturer's recommendation regarding ventilation of stationary installation sites – prolonged exposure to temperatures above +90°C may affect the properties of the silicone.
