Universal spiral cable for specialized applications

This black, shielded PUR-SPIKA cable is a flexible solution for applications requiring a high degree of freedom of movement and resistance to external factors. Made of polyurethane (PUR), this cable is characterized by high mechanical strength and flexibility, making it ideal for dynamic applications. The construction with seven copper strands ensures a reliable connection in various applications.

Construction and properties

The PUR-SPIKA cable is designed for durability and functionality. It consists of stranded copper wires, meeting VDE 0295 cl. 6 and IEC 60228 cl. 6 standards, insulated with TPE-E. The wires are twisted and additionally shielded, which minimizes electromagnetic interference. The outer jacket made of PUR provides resistance to abrasion, oils and greases. The length of the spiral in the unextended state is 300 mm, and when extended it can reach 900 mm – this provides great freedom in adapting to specific mounting needs. It is also important that there are straight sections of 200 mm at the ends, which facilitates connection.

An elongation ratio of 1:4 allows you to adjust the cable length to specific installation requirements. Please note that the AWG sizes given are approximate – the exact cross-section is given in mm². Axial versions and sections with a spiral length of up to 5 m (on request) are also available.
