Flexible spiral cable PUR-SPIKA – reliability in motion

This orange PUR-SPIKA 2x1 mm² spiral cable is an ideal solution for applications requiring high flexibility and resistance to mechanical loads. Made of high-quality polyurethane (PUR), it provides a reliable connection in dynamic environments. The cable is particularly useful where standard cabling fails – in machines, power tools, the construction industry, as well as in mobile and medical devices.

Construction and user properties

The cable is characterized by a construction that ensures high strength and flexibility. It uses twisted copper conductors, meeting the standards of DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228. The core insulation is made of rubber, and the outer layer of durable PUR polyurethane, which guarantees resistance to abrasion, oils and other external factors. A yellow-green protective conductor (available from the 3-core version) provides additional safety. The cable is available in a spiral length of 1500 mm before stretching, allowing it to be adapted to specific needs. After stretching, it reaches a length of up to 6000 mm while maintaining full functionality.

Applications and technical parameters

The PUR-SPIKA cable is perfect for applications requiring frequent bending and movement. Its operating temperature range from -25°C to +70°C allows it to be used in various environmental conditions. The rated voltage U/U0 is 750 V / 450 V, respectively, making it safe in many electrical installations. The elongation ratio of 1:4 allows for convenient adjustment of the cable length to the needs of the installation. Additionally, each cable has straight sections 200 mm long at the ends, making it easier to connect to devices. The cable is flame retardant.
