Construction and properties

The PUR-SPIKA cable is characterized by a solid construction. It has two copper conductors with a cross-section of 1 mm², insulated with rubber, which guarantees good conductivity and safety of use. The conductors are twisted according to DIN VDE 0295 cl.5, BS 6360 cl.5 and IEC 60228 cl.5 standards. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) provides protection against moisture, oils and other chemicals. The cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -25°C to +70°C and has a rated voltage of 750 V (U) and 450 V (U0). Thanks to the elongation ratio of 1:4, the cable can be stretched from 2000 mm to 8000 mm, which facilitates its installation and adaptation to the user's needs. An important element is also the presence of straight ends with a length of 200 mm in each case – this facilitates the connection of the cable without the need for additional preparation of the ends.
