Flexible spiral cable PUR-SPIKA – reliability in motion

This 5-core spiral cable with a polyurethane (PUR) braid is the ideal solution wherever high flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage are required. The cable is characterized by its ability to stretch, which facilitates its routing and adaptation to specific working conditions. The use of high-quality materials guarantees long-lasting and trouble-free operation in demanding industrial environments.

Construction and properties

The PUR-SPIKA cable has been designed for intensive use. It consists of stranded copper cores insulated with rubber, which ensures good conductivity and flexibility. The cores are identified in accordance with DIN VDE 0293-308, and the protective core is yellow-green (from 3 cores). The outer jacket made of PUR protects the cable against abrasion, oils and other external factors. This makes it resistant to mechanical and chemical damage.

This cable is characterized by high flexibility – the elongation ratio is 1:4, which means it can be stretched to 8000 mm from an initial length of 2000 mm. The end sections of the cable are straight (200 mm), which facilitates connection to devices. The cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -25°C to +70°C and has a rated voltage of 450/750 V.
