Flexible spiral cable PUR-SPIKA – reliability in motion

This orange PUR-SPIKA spiral cable with five conductors of 1.5 mm² cross-section is the ideal solution wherever high flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage are required. Its construction allows it to be stretched to 1200 mm from its initial length of 300 mm, making it easy to adapt to specific needs. This cable is ideal for applications requiring frequent movements and bends, ensuring a continuous connection.

Construction and properties

The PUR-SPIKA cable is characterized by a solid construction. Made of stranded copper conductors, meeting the standards of DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228, it provides good conductivity and reliability. The conductor insulation made of rubber guarantees safe use, and the outer polyurethane (PUR) jacket protects against external factors. A yellow-green protective conductor (available from 3 conductors) further increases the level of safety. The cable is designed to operate in a temperature range from -25°C to +70°C and withstands a rated voltage of up to 750 V. An elongation ratio of 1:4 allows for convenient adjustment of the cable length to the specifics of a given application. It is important to note that there is a straight section of 200 mm at the ends, which facilitates connection.
