Flexible spiral cable PUR-SPIKA – reliability in motion

This 7-core spiral cable with a polyurethane (PUR) braid is the ideal solution wherever high flexibility and resistance to mechanical factors are required. The PUR-SPIKA cable is designed for use in machines, power tools, the construction industry, lifts, entertainment devices, medical equipment and measuring instruments. Its construction allows for free movement and operation in difficult conditions.

Construction and user parameters

The cable is characterized by high quality workmanship. Made of stranded copper conductors, meeting the standards of DIN VDE 0295 class 5, BS 6360 class 5 and IEC 60228 class 5. The insulation of the cores made of rubber provides good electrical protection, and the yellow-green protective conductor (available from 3 cores) further increases safety. The outer jacket made of PUR guarantees resistance to abrasion, oils and greases. The cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -25°C to +70°C and withstands a rated voltage of up to 750 V.

The length of the spiral before stretching is 1400 mm, and after stretching as much as 5600 mm – this provides a great freedom in adapting to specific installation needs. In addition, the cable has straight sections with a length of 200 mm at each end, which facilitates connection to devices. An elongation ratio of 1:4 allows you to adjust the cable length to changing working conditions.
