Flexible spiral PUR cable – reliability in harsh conditions

This orange spiral cable with a polyurethane (PUR) braid is the ideal solution wherever high flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage are required. This cable, with a spiral length of 1500 mm before stretching, is designed for use in machines, power tools, the construction industry, as well as in medical and entertainment devices. Its construction allows it to be stretched to 6000 mm, providing comfort and freedom of movement during work.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction: twisted copper strands, rubber insulation and a durable PUR braid. The strands are made in accordance with DIN VDE 0295 cl.5, BS 6360 cl.5 and IEC 60228 cl.5 standards, which guarantees high quality and safety of use. The identification of the strands is carried out in accordance with DIN VDE 0293-308, and the protective conductor is yellow-green (in the case of cables with 3 strands or more). The outer PUR jacket provides resistance to abrasion and weathering.

This cable is designed to operate in a temperature range from -25°C to +70°C and has a rated voltage U/U0 of 500/300 V, respectively. The test voltage is 2000 / 2500 V. The elongation ratio of 1:4 allows you to adjust the cable length to specific needs. There are straight sections of 200 mm length at the ends of the cable, making it easy to connect to devices.
