This specialized connection cable, designated TOPFLEX®-EMV-3-PLUS-2YSLCY-J, is designed to work with frequency inverters. Construction and application
This cable is distinguished by double shielding – a copper braid and an aluminum tape – which provides excellent protection against interference. The construction with three current-carrying conductors and a PE (protective earth) conductor divided into three ensures optimal electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). This makes the cable perfect for applications where minimizing the impact of electromagnetic fields on the environment is important.
The intended use of this cable covers a wide range of applications in industry: mechanical engineering, metallurgy, food processing, packaging, automation, environmental technology, and control, signaling and measurement systems. It will be used to power pumps, ventilation, conveyor belts, air conditioning systems and SIMOVERT drives. It can be used both in dry, humid and wet rooms, as well as outdoors.
