Connection cable for inverters – reliability and electromagnetic compatibility
This specialized TOPFLEX®-EMV-3-PLUS-2YSLCY-J cable is designed for efficient and safe power supply to motors using frequency converters. This cable, with a cross-section of 3x35+3G6 mm², combines flexibility, durability and advanced shielding properties, making it an ideal solution for both professional installers and end users. A transparent coating with color-coded cores simplifies identification and installation.
Construction and application
This cable features double shielding – aluminum tape and copper braiding – which minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC). This ensures stable device operation and protects against the negative impact of electromagnetic fields on the environment. This is particularly important in industrial applications where the precision of machines and equipment is crucial. The cable is designed for medium mechanical stress and flexible connections, without tensile stress. It can be used in dry, humid, wet rooms and outdoors.

- 3 PLUS construction: Special construction with three working cores and a PE protective core divided into three cores provides better electromagnetic compatibility than traditional four-core cables.
Additionally, the outer diameter of the cable is approximately 26.9 mm and the rated voltage is 1000 V (U) / 600/1000 V (U0). The insulation resistance is min. 200 MOhm/km and the minimum bending radius is: for stationary cables - 10x cable diameter (up to 12mm), 15x cable diameter (from 12 to 20mm) and 20x cable diameter (above 20mm), and for flexible cables - respectively: 5x cable diameter (up to 12mm), 7.5x cable diameter (from 12 to 20mm) and 10x cable diameter (above 20mm). The outer coating material is polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
