Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a solid construction based on stranded copper conductors (class 5), which provide flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. The core insulation made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) guarantees good electrical insulation and resistance to external factors. The cores are black with white numbers, which facilitates identification and connection. Additionally, the presence of a yellow-green protective conductor (from 3 cores) increases safety. A dense shielding braid minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), ensuring stable signal and pulse transmission. The outer PVC coating protects the cable from mechanical damage and weathering.
Application and technical parameters
The Y-CY-JZ 3G1.5 mm² cable is intended for use in dry and damp indoor environments and outdoors, provided it is protected from UV radiation. It can be used at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C during stationary operation and from -15°C to +80°C during flexible operation. The rated voltage is 300/500 V, and the outer diameter is approximately 9.4 mm. The cable meets the standards DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 and has a fire reaction class of Eca according to EN 13501-6. Thanks to its resistance to oils and chemicals, it finds application in many industries. The minimum bending radius for flexible operation is 10 x cable diameter, and for stationary operation – 5 x cable diameter.
