This flexible shielded Y-CY-JZ 4G10 mm² cable is an ideal solution for control, regulation, electronics systems, and in mechanical engineering. It provides safe and stable connections in demanding applications. The construction with a dense braid minimizes electromagnetic interference, guaranteeing precise signal and pulse transmission. The cable is made of high-quality materials, which translates to its durability and resistance to mechanical damage.
### Construction and properties
The Y-CY-JZ 4G10 cable consists of four copper conductors with a cross-section of 10 mm², insulated with special PVC (Z 7225). The conductors are twisted in parallel and marked with numbers according to DIN VDE 0293, which facilitates identification. Additionally, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor (from 3 conductors), providing extra safety. The screen in the form of a braid of copper wires (coverage approx. 85%) effectively protects against the influence of electromagnetic interference (EMC). The whole is surrounded by a gray outer coating made of transparent PVC, resistant to oils and chemicals.
The cable is characterized by flexibility in the temperature range from -15°C to +80°C during operation and from -40°C to +80°C during storage. The rated voltage is 300/500 V, and the test voltage is 4000 V. The insulation resistance is at least 20 MOhm x km, ensuring high connection quality. The cable meets the requirements of EN 13501-6 standard in fire reaction class Eca.
