The HELUCONTROL® OZ-520-HMH-C LS0H GREY halogen-free control and power cable is a professional solution for installations requiring the highest fire safety standards. The product complies with the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11 / DIN EN 50525-3-11 and is intended for use in buildings classified as Human Hazard (ZL) areas, where fire safety is of critical importance.
Construction and safety-ensuring materials
The cable utilizes bare copper conductors, finely stranded according to DIN VDE 0295 class 5 / IEC 60228 class 5. The conductor insulation is made of halogen-free polymer according to DIN VDE 0207-363-7 / DIN EN 50363-7 (compound type TI7), which guarantees no emission of toxic gases during a fire. Black conductors are marked with white sequential numbers according to DIN VDE 0293-334.
The construction includes aluminum shielding foil and a braid of tinned copper wires with a coverage density of approximately 85%, ensuring effective electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). The outer sheath is made of halogen-free polymer according to DIN VDE 0207-363-0 / DIN EN 50363-0 (compound type M1) in RAL 7001 grey.
Operating parameters and environmental resistance
The cable operates in a temperature range from -15°C to +70°C (flexible) and from -40°C to +70°C (fixed installation). The rated voltage is AC U0/U 300/500V, and the test voltage between conductors is 2000V. The minimum bending radius is 12.5x the outer diameter for flexible applications and 4x the outer diameter for fixed installations.
The product is characterized by high oil resistance according to DIN VDE 0473-811-404 / DIN EN 60811-404 / IEC 60811-404. The materials used in production are cadmium-free and silicone-free and do not contain substances harmful to the wetting properties of lacquers.
Applications and safety certification
The cable finds wide application as a control, measurement, and monitoring cable in machine tools, belt conveyors, production lines, and air conditioning installations. It is particularly effective in steel mills and the metallurgical industry.
The product is suitable for fixed or flexible installation under medium mechanical load in situations where there are no accidental tensions or cyclic forced movements. It can be used in dry, damp, and wet locations, as well as for surface mounting.
The cable has CPR certification class B2ca, confirming its high fire resistance and compliance with European construction product regulations. In the event of a fire, it does not emit large amounts of smoke or toxic and corrosive gases, ensuring human safety and protecting sensitive electronic devices from damage.
