This shielded, halogen-free ipflex 121 cable is a robust solution for demanding applications, especially in industrial and marine environments. Designed for use in chain systems, it provides reliable transmission of power and signals even with intense bending and movement. Its construction guarantees resistance to external factors such as oils, UV radiation and extreme temperatures.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a construction that provides high flexibility and durability. Made of multi-wire copper conductor class 6 (BS 6360 cl.6, IEC 60228 cl.6) ensures good conductivity and resistance to material fatigue. Power cores are black with U1, V2, W3 printing, and the protective core is yellow-green. Control cores with white numbering (5,6 and 7,8) are shielded with aluminum foil and a braid of tinned copper wires – this ensures reduction of electromagnetic interference. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer coating made of polyurethane (PUR), resistant to abrasion and mechanical damage. In addition, the cable meets the standards for flame resistance (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2/ IEC 60332-1) and halogen-free (DIN VDE 0482 part 267/ DIN EN 50267-2-1/IEC 60754-1).
