Single-core halogen-free cable – safety and reliability of installation

This blue single-core H07Z-K cable with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² combines functionality and safety. Made with a stranded copper conductor and insulated with a halogen-free material, it provides reliable conductivity while reducing the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire. This is a key solution for installations requiring a high level of fire protection.

Construction and application

The H07Z-K cable features a flexible construction with a multi-strand conductor (class 5), making it easy to install and route even in tight spaces. It is designed for use in electrical installations on and under plaster, in closed cable ducts, and as wiring in devices, switchgear and lighting. It is suitable for both domestic and industrial installations where the operating voltage does not exceed 450/750V (AC/DC).

• Safety: Halogen-free insulation minimizes the risk of toxic gas formation during a fire, protecting the health and lives of users. Complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-3-41 / DIN EN 50525-3-41.

In addition, this cable is characterized by an allowable operating temperature of up to +90°C on the conductors and a minimum bending radius of ≤ 8mm for cables with a diameter below 8mm, and larger accordingly (see specifications). This allows it to be easily adapted to the specifics of a particular installation.
