This yellow-green single-core wire H07Z1-K with a cross-section of 16 mm² is an element that will find application in demanding electrical installations where fire safety is crucial. Made of copper, with halogen-free insulation, it provides not only effective energy conduction but also minimizes risk in the event of a fire. This is particularly important in buildings with a high risk to people (ZL I-V), such as office buildings, hospitals, schools or airports.

Construction and properties

The wire is characterized by a flexible stranded construction (class 5), which makes it easier to install and route in tight spaces. The halogen-free insulation meets the standards IEC 60754-1, IEC 60754-2 and IEC 60754-3, which means that it does not release toxic and corrosive gases during combustion. This protects both people and sensitive electronic devices. In addition, the wire has a fire reaction class B2ca according to EN 13501-6 and low smoke density (s1a) and low corrosivity of gases (a1) according to the same standard. Fire resistance is confirmed by IEC 60332-3-24 certificate (cat. C).
