Construction and properties
The HELUTHERM® 400 cable stands out with a unique construction that guarantees reliability even in the most challenging conditions. It consists of:
- Core: Stranded, made of nickel – provides flexibility and corrosion resistance.
- Insulation: Special insulation resistant to very high temperatures, allowing continuous operation in the range of -60°C to +400°C (short-term up to +450°C).
- Braid: Durable fiberglass braid, protecting against mechanical damage and external factors.
Thanks to this combination of materials, the cable exhibits very good chemical properties and high radiation resistance. This is particularly important in applications exposed to aggressive substances or strong radiation.
