This indicator module, designed for Hikvision second-generation intercom systems, is a practical solution for both installers and end-users. It serves to clearly inform about the current status of the door station – whether someone is calling, a conversation is in progress, or the door has been opened. This makes communication with visitors more intuitive and comfortable.

The module works with modular Hikvision door stations, complementing the functionality of the entire system. Its installation is simple, and thanks to its IP65 protection rating, it can be used both indoors and outdoors – without fear of weather conditions. Power is supplied from the main module or another module in the system, simplifying wiring.

Functionality and application

The indicator module displays information using backlit icons, ensuring good visibility even in low light conditions. This allows for quick orientation in the situation and an appropriate response to events occurring at the door station. This is particularly useful in places with high traffic or where users may not have constant access to the video intercom monitor.

The module configuration is done using the iVMS-4200 software, providing full control over its operation and allowing it to be adapted to individual user needs. It is important to remember that for proper operation, the module requires cooperation with the main module DS-KD8003-IME1 or DS-KD8003Y-IME2 (depending on the system generation).

Construction and parameters

The module is made of durable plastic, ensuring its durability and resistance to mechanical damage. Its compact dimensions (98.5mm x 100mm x 33.7mm) allow for easy installation in various locations. Power consumption does not exceed 2W, making it an energy-saving solution. The device operates in a wide temperature range from -40°C to +60°C, making it suitable for various climatic conditions. The IP65 protection rating guarantees protection against dust and water jets.
