This visitor module, designed for Hikvision second-generation systems, allows you to expand the station gateway with 12 additional call buttons. It is an ideal solution for apartment buildings, office buildings or companies where a large number of premises need to be supported. Thanks to it, residents or employees can easily and quickly contact visitors.

Functionality and installation

The DS-KD-K12 module offers 12 mechanical buttons with space for placing nameplates, making it easier to identify individual premises. LED button backlighting provides good visibility even at night. Communication and power are via the RS485 bus, simplifying installation and reducing the number of cables. Installation is possible both surface-mounted and flush-mounted – just select the appropriate mounting frame (available separately). It is worth remembering that for correct operation, the module requires connection to the main gateway module with a 12VDC or PoE power supply.

Solid construction and protection

The housing made of high-quality plastic ensures durability and resistance to weather conditions (IP65 protection rating). This means that the module can be safely used outdoors without fear of damage caused by rain or dust. In addition, the module configuration is done using the iVMS-4200 software, giving you full control over the system settings. This allows the installer to adapt the module's operation to the specific needs of users.
