This thermostatic valve, simple in design and equipped with an SX insert, is a reliable solution for heating installations. Designed to work with radiators with a 1/2 inch internal thread connection, it provides effective heat flow balancing in the system. The included connector with a metal-to-metal seal guarantees a leak-proof and durable connection.

The V2020DSX15 valve is universal – it will work in both new and modernized two-pipe heating and cooling installations. Its construction allows for quiet operation in both flow directions, and the possibility of mounting on both the supply and return of the radiator increases the flexibility of the installation.

Characteristics and application

The valve is characterized by a flow rate range of 20 to 170 liters per hour with a pressure drop of 10 kPa and a Kvs value of 0.7. The possibility of pre-setting allows limiting the maximum flow to 130% of the nominal value, which prevents oversupply of the radiator and helps maintain balance throughout the system. This makes the valve particularly useful in rooms where precise temperature control is required or where there are large differences in heat demand.

The use of a dust cover protects the valve from dirt, and independence from pressure ensures stable system operation regardless of pressure changes in the installation. The connection length is 27.5 mm and 55 mm, and the height of the valve itself is 25 mm. The valve is thermostatically adjustable and has a thermostatic valve size of M30 x 1.5.
