Three-phase inverter for large photovoltaic installations

The Huawei SUN2000-115KTL-M2 inverter is a high-performance device designed for use in large-scale photovoltaic systems, both in commercial and industrial applications. It provides efficient conversion of solar energy into alternating current, ready for use or delivery to the grid. The design without a display and integrated protections minimizes the risk of failure and simplifies diagnostics.

Efficiency and design flexibility

A key feature of this model is its equipment with ten independent MPPTs (Maximum Power Point Tracking). This allows for optimization of the operation of solar panels with different orientations and parameters, which translates into higher system efficiency. Even if a fragment of the installation is shaded, the remaining panels will operate with maximum efficiency. Efficiency at the level of 98.8% (at 480V) and 98.6% (at 400V) guarantees minimal energy losses during conversion. High European efficiency – 98.4% – confirms its reliability and efficiency in real-world operating conditions.

Safety and protection

The inverter is equipped with a number of protections that protect both the installation and users. A built-in DC disconnector facilitates safe disconnection of photovoltaic panels during servicing or maintenance. AC and DC surge arresters (Type II) protect against the effects of lightning strikes. The protection degree IP66 ensures resistance to weather conditions – dust and moisture are not a problem even in harsh outdoor conditions. In addition, the device has a built-in short-circuit and overcurrent protection.

Communication and monitoring

Despite the lack of an LCD display and WiFi/LAN, the inverter offers advanced monitoring and remote control capabilities via RS485 communication. The ability to connect to the Huawei FusionSolar energy management system allows for continuous monitoring of installation parameters and diagnosis of any problems. Additionally, it is possible to expand with a 4G/3G/2G communication module via a Smart Dongle (available separately).
