The TA-Modulator valve is an independent, pressure-independent balancing and regulating valve (PIBCV) designed for precise, smooth regulation in heating and cooling systems. Characteristics and application
TA-Modulator features a unique EQM (Equal Percentage Modulation) characteristic, which provides exceptional regulation accuracy even at very low flow rates. This makes it possible to maintain a stable temperature in rooms without fluctuations, which translates to high user comfort. The valve works perfectly for consumers requiring a lower flow rate than initially assumed, offering up to six times greater working stroke than traditional linear valves at the same flow rate. The ability to measure flow and available differential pressure allows for optimization of system operation and quick diagnosis of any problems.
Construction and advantages
The valve is made of Ametal® material, which is characterized by high durability and corrosion resistance. It has a cylindrical external gas thread (BSPP) with a nominal diameter of DN 20 and an actuator connection of M30 x 1.5. The working length is 85 mm, and the maximum pressure difference is 400 kPa. The built-in differential pressure regulator ensures stable regulation and automatic limitation of the design flow. Additionally, the valve is compatible with TA-Slider digital actuators, enabling integration with modern BMS systems.
